Re: Black Enterprise Top 10 Cities for African Americans to live 2013 Edition

Is this list for 2012-13 or is this a old list because there are about four other threads on this.

I don't understand this list. Can black people make as much as their white counterparts in other cities in these cities? Will a black business thrive more in these places?

Of all of those cities, Birmingham is the one that's ignored. I am happy it made the list, but I don't see why (other than dirt-cheap housing), and I live here.

Re: Black Enterprise Top 10 Cities for African Americans to live 2013 Edition

    this list is bogus

seems like they just listed major cities with a large black population

I'll vouch for DC and the whole DMV area since I used to live there but other than that I don't think I would fucks wit any of those cities...

My homeboy says Austin TX is a really slept on spot for younger black people...and I've heard good things about Denver

I live in Chicago now and the city is super segregated but honestly as long as you stay away from the hood and other generally grimey places in the city you'll be just fine and it's not bad being in one of the largest cities in the US as far as resources go (jobs, nightlife, women, shopping, tourism, etc) - when I hear niggas in Chicago complaining there's nothing to do and no jobs and no women and shit I'm like W T F....

I'd love to move back to DC if the opportunity presented itself but I think Chicago is an awesome place...like I said...just staty out the fuckin hood and you'll be juuuussttttt fine

but then again that's ANY city

my cousin lives in St. Louis and she lives really nice there, nice job downtown, nice condo right outside city limits, good friends, etc. but whenever she tells someone she's from St. Louis they act like she said she's from Compton or some shit,

for the most part you have to make the most of where you live
